A model of organic farming is largely closed fuel cycle in a multi-structured operating system. To produce because of the principles of organic agriculture, fertility and productivity of the design of the operating system and use self-regulatory processes is necessary for lasting success of the optimization of the system as a whole. This includes a basic analysis of the ecological relationships and regularities in advance within the system. Existing methods for the analysis of operating systems were primarily developed for conventional farming, and only partially adapted to the conditions of organic farming. This limits their applicability, it can even lead to misjudgements. The aim of the technical discussion on 14./15.04.2005 it is the basis of overview papers the development of instruments for environmental analysis of production and operating systems to represent and assess their suitability for organic farming. In each thematic block is a discussion with conclusions: a) the requirements of practice and guidance, b) the shortcomings of existing models and c) the needs in research and development. Subsequently, the manuscripts of the lectures and discussions will be obtained and edited. By the end of 2005 a band as KTBL publication is edited.
