Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment

Construction of the first national, interactive portal for ex-situ conservation of living of indigenous wild plants in Germany. This is a single whole plants of the conservation culture into German botanical gardens. For 75 selected species, among them 56 are for food and agriculture are particularly relevant, detailed profiles created. in addition, it provides the opportunity for knowledge transfer and material, and special offers for users in the field of horticulture and a high degree of transparency for nature conservation authorities. In addition to the technical implementation involves the implementation of the project, especially the extensive research, critical evaluation and webgerechte reappraisal of the following: background information, profiles of selected taxa, cultivation information, information for reclamation, material exchange, information on resettlement projects, priority concept, extensive links and networking, additional information, data transmission to the central documentation to plant genetic resources of agricultural and horticultural species in Germany (PGRDEU).
