Purpose of research: Applied research
This project will seek to provide the male turkeys the optimized housing conditions gained from previous experiments with various manipulable materials (hay baskets and picking blocks in addition to bedding), with structuring (by rectangular straw bales and an outdoor area) - at different livestock densities, to determine whether and how the livestock density has an influence in otherwise similar conditions.
