Purpose of research: Basic research
Methods for authentication of organic food are to consumers and producers alike of interest. As detection methods for organic milk, the content of alpha-linolenic acid and stable isotope ratio of carbon (delta13C) have already been worked out. In this follow-up project the extent will be examined to which the feed-related discrimination parameter of organic milk are transferable on organic beef or if ther are more parameters.
