Project code: 2814EPS035
Contract period: 01.02.2015 - 31.12.2017
Budget: 93,743 Euro
Purpose of research: Demonstration

A selection of farms that are involved in the exemplary demonstration networks soya and lupine of the protein crop strategy will be analysed regarding agronomic issues. The following goals are to be achieved: - Identification and weighting of essential, agronomic factors influencing the success of the soybean and lupine cultivation in practice. - Supplement to individual results of the soybean and lupine projects with the objective to deduce location-based optimization strategies for the cultivation of grain legumes and a decision support for the farm-specific species selection. - Nutzung von Synergieeffekten aus der Kombination der bisher bestehenden oder geplanten Untersuchungen sowie gezielter ergänzender Datenerhebungen auf den Betrieben der Betriebsnetzwerke. - Use of synergies from the combination of the network-investigations and specific supplementary data collected on the network-farms. In order to achieve the objectives data of 40 soya fields in 2015 and 2016 and 25 lupine fields between 2015 and 2017 willl be evaluated. Additionaly to the data collected in the network, informations will be requested from the farm managers and various soil and plant parameters will be evaluated at two measurement plots per field.
