Production processes

Project code: JKI-SF-08-0025
Contract period: 01.01.2016 - 31.12.2019
Purpose of research: Applied research

In a long-term field trial on the assessment of the influence of crop rotation (crop rotation versus continuous cultivation of winter rye), plant protection and fertilization are examined. The interaction of the three factors is of interest. The factors fertilization and plant protection varies in a classic with / without comparison in two rotations. The effects of no fertilizations and no pesticides and the interactions of these two factors are measured on the yield, pest occurrences, and the economy. The aftereffects of different herbicide strategies on the weed occurrence are still clearly visible although the realignment of long-term field trial was done four years ago. The untreated variants regarding fungicides and insecticides (rapeseed and pea) leads to valuable results. The combination of feeding rye and sorghum at the location Dahnsdorf is equal on the subject of maize yield.
