Project
Project code: JKI-OW-08-0025
Contract period: 01.01.2008
- 31.12.2017
Purpose of research: Applied research
Specific plant phytopathological problems in vineyards with fungus resistant cultivars. Are the Mildew and Downy Mildew resistant cultivars susceptible to Black Rot, Phomopsis and Rotbrenner and how can these diseases be managed in low input vineyards? Minimization of copper application in organic viticulture. Determination of the minmal copper deposit on leaves and clusters that is required for control of downy mildew. Control of black rot in organic viticulture. Regulation strategies for vectors and alternative host plants of grape pathogenic phytoplasmas in organic viticulture. Data on the occurrence and efficiency of parasitoids of grape berry moth in vineyards without pesticide application. Quick test for copper contents of grape leaves; first results on the efficiency of new copper formulations in low concentration. Use of green-cover and soil cultivation techniques to reduce the infection pressure by yellows diseases.
