Purpose of research: Basic research
Against the background of an ongoing loss of biological diversity in agro-ecosystems there is urgent need to develop indicators and well adapted monitoring concepts that facilitate a survey and assessment of both the status and trends of plant diversity. This project focuses on the development and assessment of relevant pressure indicators on plant diversity in managed grasslands considering different spatial scales. The results contribute to the evaluation and further development of the agri-environment schemes
