Purpose of research: Applied research
Main objective of the project is to develop recommendations for varieties and production techniques for Bavarian agriculture. Seed characteristics, agricultural parameter and harvest quality of a worldwide variety collection as well as plant productive information are investigated. Using these results together with climate and soil data, a map of Bavaria showing the applicability of growing sorghum will be generated.
